Become an Investor
The Economic Development Council of Collier County (EDC) has long attracted business leaders committed to
high-quality, high-wage job retention and creation from the public and private sectors throughout Collier
County. Investors of the EDC play a pivotal role ensuring the continued economic prosperity of our community.
A public/private, non-profit organization, the EDC has evolved into a dynamic resource providing business
assistance services to both local companies wanting to expand and to new companies that desire to relocate
to Collier County.
Investor Levels
Benefactor Investment Level
This exclusive level of investment is available to one company each year. The business leader selected as the Benefactor investor plays a pivotal role in ensuring
the continued economic prosperity of our community by supporting the EDC's ongoing commitment to the creation of high-value, high-wage job retention and
creation from the public and private sectors throughout Collier County.
Foundations Investment Level
Foundations investors provide a level of personal and financial commitment
commensurate with their ability to channel significant fiscal contributions
of private sector business capital to economic diversification efforts. The
Foundations investors demonstrate the interest of a distinguished group
dedicated to furthering the economic diversification of Collier County
through the retention, expansion and creation of high-wage jobs.
Premier Investment Level
The EDC relies on its Premier investor representatives to provide direction
in the County’s economic development efforts to promote Collier County as
an ideal business location. The Premier investors assist the EDC in identifying
objectives, helping to ensure the objectives are met and to provide sponsorship
investments to fund EDC business community events.
Corporate Investment Level
Corporate investors are recognized for their support of EDC’s efforts
to promote economic diversification initiatives which will diversify the
economy.
Industry Investment Level
Companies at the Industry Investment Level are supporters of EDC’s
mission to create and retain high-value jobs, as well as economic
diversification initiatives.
Business Investment Level
The Business Investment Level enables a company to become involved
in Collier County’s economic development efforts. This level of
participation is geared toward Collier County’s small businesses.
(Companies with 20 or more employees are encouraged to participate at
a higher level.)
